About comocompanion

I am an Englishman in Como, Northern Italy - definitely both a Euro and Italophile with an interest in modern history, walks in the hills and mountains, and food and wine. These antidotes to angst are supported by interests in sustainability, the potential of collaborative economies and I suppose a degree of atheistic faith in something I still cannot be bothered to define.

    • Hi Irma – Both Sharon and I loved our visit to your lovely home. Sharon started reading your book on our return home and now knows a lot more about the Kennaway family! I am looking forward to reading it too. I will start to work on the notes I took during our conversation as soon as possible and will get back to you when I have a draft ready to share. Thank you also for the encouragement and support for the Como Companion – I felt good that it was able to inform you of the Noir in Festival event – even if only after the fact!
